Halloween.
Experience a heritage train ride up and down our track in an authentic heated coach hauled by a historic locomotive experiencing the golden age of steam. The "Hocus Pocus" trains depart hourly on Saturday 25th October between 1pm and 4pm, while on Sunday 26th October, hourly departures are between 11am and 3pm. All trains depart and return to the Pitsford and Brampton Station and you have the flexibility of boarding a train at any tlme that suits you (Except timed bookings for the Accessibility and Wheelchair Compartment and the "Eerie Night Express" trains). You will visit our Boughton Station where the train will stop before you continue your journey. For the "Hocus Poous" train rides only, you can stay at this station and return on a later train. You can also buy tickets and board trains there with a regular bus service available to and from the station. The return train ride last about 45 minues.
The hourly timed "Eerie Night Express" trains depart and returns to the Pitsford and Brampton Station on Saturday 25th October at 6pm: 7pm and 8pm.

The station and train coaches will be decorated especially for Halloween together with pumpkin 'jack–o'–lanterns' carved faces and other attractions. Kids and adults, why not arrive in a Halloween fancy dress although this is not mandatory.

There are Public Houses next to the Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton Stations to visit before or after your train ride

Also, enjoy a walk along the Brampton Valley Way next to the stations.

And parking is free at the Pitsford and Brampton Station. Also, there is free public parking available approximately 250 metres from the Boughton Station.

- Tickets can be booked in advance or purchased on the day dependent upon availability. All children must be accompanied by a full paying adult ticket holder.

Adult Carers accompanying an Additional Needs Customer (2 Carers per Additional Needs Customer) must provide a Northamptonshire Carers Card or equivalent.

There are no toilets on the train. These are available at the Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton Stations.

- Dogs are very welcome at the NLR, provided they are well behaved. You can take your dog on the train too, except for the Cream Teas, Cheese & Cider and Breakfast with Santa Events in the first class coach (assistance dogs are accepted). We simply ask that all dog owners clean up any "accidents" and also your dog does not sit on the coach seats.
