Eerie Night Express Wheelchair User or Additional Needs Customer Tickets; Sat 25th October.

What to expect:

  • An after dark ghost and spookier heritage steam train ride and look out kids for those creepy and scary ghosts. (This train ride may not be suitable for kids under 8 years or those who are easily frightened). 

  • The station and train coaches will be decorated especially for Halloween together with pumpkin 'jack–o'–lanterns' carved faces and other attractions. Kids and adults, why not arrive in a Halloween fancy dress although this is not mandatory.

  •  A Souvenir Shop on the station selling a wide range of gifts, books, toys and other goods.There is wheelchair access to the shop.

  • The Pitsford and Brampton Station "Platform 3 Buffet" serving hot/cold drinks, snacks and freshly prepared hot food. There is a refreshment carriage at the Boughton Station.

  • There are Public Houses next to the Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton Stations to visit before or after your train ride.

  • And parking is free at the Pitsford and Brampton Station. Also, there is free public parking available approximately 250 metres from the Boughton Station.

Booking Information:

  • The Accessibility Compartment can accommodate 1 wheelchair and 2 Companions/Carers or 4 persons seated with no wheelchair.
  • Adult Carers accompanying a Wheelchair User or Additional Needs Customer (2 Carers per Wheelchair User or Additional Needs Customer) must provide a Northamptonshire Carers Card or equivalent.

  • Tickets can be booked in advance or purchased on the day dependent upon availability. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • All tickets are for timed return train rides only and Rover Tickets are not available for the Accessibility/Wheelchair Compartment.

  • There are no toilets on the train. These are available at the Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton Stations.

Dogs:

  • Dogs are very welcome at the NLR, provided they are well behaved. You can take your dog on the train too, except for the Cream Teas, Cheese & Cider and  Breakfast with Santa Events in the first class coach. (assistance dogs are accepted). We simply ask that all dog owners clean up any "accidents" and also your dog does not sit on the coach seats.
  • The Northampton and Lamport Heritage Railway staff hope that your Easter visit to the railway is memorable, enjoyable and you have a great time with us.
