Northampton and Lamport Railway Ticket Portal

Behind the Scenes Tour and Train Ride Tickets.

The Tour Programme:

  • Your tour commences at 10am and finished at 3pm
  • You start the tour with a free breakfast followed by a talk on the history of the Northampton and Lamport Railway and the current development plans.
  • Then a Brake Van ride to our Bridge 13 project with a talk on the project's progress.

  • You continue the tour with a visit to the Pitsford and Brampton Station Signal Box and our Engineering Department where you will see some further restoration projects. 

  • The tour takes you on a train ride to our newly opened Boughton Station to visit the Signal Box there and be given a talk on the future plans for the station.

  • Finally, you take a train back to the Pitsford and Brampton Station with a tour of the steam locomotive shed.

Booking Information:

  • Tickets can be booked in advance or purchased on the day dependent upon availability
  • There are no toilets available during the train ride. These are available at the Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton Stations.

  • Rover and Heritage Railway Association (HRA) tickets are not availble for this event.
