Join us at the NLR at this wonderful time of the year by enjoying a heritage steam train ride in a heated coach, with all the family meeting Santa on the station platform and in his grotto where you will sing Christmas carols and your children will receive a quality gift.
The station and the train coaches will be decorated in a traditional way, capuring the festive seasons's magic, happiness and joy.
Sherry, soft drinks and mince pies for adults and sweet treats, together with a Fruit Shoot for kids will be available during your train ride at no extra cost.

On the 1st December, trains depart at 1115am : 1230pm : 145pm : 3pm from the Pitsford and Brampton Station NN6 8BA. On the 7th and 8th December, they depart at 10am : 1115am : 1230pm : 145pm : 3pm from the same station. While on the 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd December, trains depart at 10am : 1115am : 1230pm : 145pm : 3pm : 415pm again from the same station. You travel to our Boughton Station for a short stop before continuing on your journey.

Please arrive at the station 30 miutes prior to departure.
- So that your child receives an appropriate gift from Santa, please would you provide at the time of booking, the age and gender of each child.

During your time at the railway, why not visit the Souvenir Shop at the Pitsford and Brampton Station and taste the goodies too in the Platform 3 Buffet serving hot/cold drinks, snacks and freshly prepared hot food.

Dogs:
- Dogs are very welcome at the NLR, provided they are well behaved. You can take your dog on the train too, except for the Cream Teas, Cheese & Cider and Breakfast with Santa Events in the first class coach. (Guide dogs are accepted). We simply ask that all dog owners clean up any "accidents’" and also your dog does not sit on the coach seats.
