Northampton and Lamport Railway Ticket Portal

Here's what you can look forward to:

• Steam trains depart hourly between 10 am and 3 pm from Pitsford and Brampton Station. Feel the freedom to hop on a train whenever you like. You're off to Boughton Station where the train will pause there briefly before continuing on its journey back to the departure station. Want to explore Boughton Station a little longer? No problem, just stay there and catch a later return train. You can even buy tickets there, plus there's a regular bus service to whisk you to and from the station. The train ride lasts approximately 40 to 45 minutes.

• Mums travel free accompanied by a full fare paying customer.

• Pay a visit to our Souvenir Shop at the station, where you'll find a wide selection of gifts, books, toys, and other charming items.

• Drop into the Pitsford and Brampton Station's "Platform 3 Buffet" offering a range of hot and cold drinks, tasty snacks, and freshly made hot food.

• Why not pop into a Public House located next to the Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton Stations for a pre- or post-ride treat?

• Take a pleasant stroll along the Brampton Valley Way, right next to the stations.

• Enjoy complimentary parking at the Pitsford and Brampton Station. Free public parking is also available just a short walk (approximately 250 metres) from the Boughton Station.

Booking Information:

• To get the best value, book your tickets in advance. Alternatively, you can purchase them on the day, subject to availability.

•  Please bring along your booking email print out or be able to show it on a mobile device. Please note that all children need to be accompanied by a full-paying adult ticket holder.

• Adult carers accompanying an additional needs customer (up to 2 carers per additional needs customer) are kindly requested to provide a Northamptonshire Carers Card or a suitable equivalent for verification purposes.

• Pushchairs can be safely stored at the station while you enjoy your train ride.

• Please be aware that there are no toilet facilities on the train itself. However, they are conveniently located at the Pitsford & Brampton and Boughton Stations. Baby changing facilities are available at the Pitsford & Brampton Station.

• Groups of 10 or more will automatically receive a 10% discount when booking online – making it even easier to enjoy a day out together.

Dogs:

• Dogs are very welcome at the NLR, provided they are well behaved. You can take your dog on the train too, except for the Cream Teas, Cheese & Cider and  Breakfast with Santa Events in the first class coach. (assistance dogs are accepted). We simply ask that all dog owners clean up any ‘accidents’ and also your dog does not sit on the coach seats.
